Board your flight from New Delhi to the enchanting Andaman Islands, traversing a significant portion of mainland India and flying over the Bay of Bengal. Upon arrival at Port Blair Airport, our representative will receive you and assist you in transferring to the hotel.
You have the option to unwind in the evening or explore the anthropological and naval marine museum. Following that, you might consider visiting the Cellular Jail, a poignant symbol of the fight for freedom. Additionally, the jail hosts a compelling light and sound show recounting tales of liberation.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the harbour to catch an inter-island ferry bound for Havelock Island, a scenic 57-kilometer sea voyage from Port Blair. Once you arrive at Havelock Island’s harbour, our team will be on hand to greet you and ensure your smooth transfer to your beachfront resort.
Next three days will be yours to relax and enjoy beaches of Havelock Island.
Havelock in short, is paradise. It’s an island tucked away from the crowds in the warm waters of the Andaman Ocean. The island is covered mostly in dense jungle and fringed with white sandy beaches shaded by tall green trees. Havelock offers a range of amenities, including multinational cuisine restaurants, souvenir shops, ATMs, and even (albeit slow) Internet cafes. You can find nearly everything you need here, although life unfolds at a more unhurried pace. Despite being one of the most visited islands in the Andamans, it welcomes only a fraction of the visitors that flock to other paradisiacal destinations worldwide.
Havelock Island is celebrated for its stunning beaches, including Radhanagar Beach on the western coast, also known as Number 7 Beach. It earned the title of “Best Beach in Asia” by Time magazine in 2004 and was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag certification in 2020. A Blue Flag beach represents an eco-tourism model dedicated to offering clean and hygienic bathing water and a safe and healthy environment for beachgoers.
Havelock Island is also known for an array of water sports activities for an adventure seeker. You can go kayaking wile gliding through the mangrove forest. You can combine kayaking with the snorkelling. Other option is to do scuba diving. Havelock offers beautiful diving sites with good visibility. You can spot the leopard shark, barracudas, white-tip shark, tube corals and range of sponges.
The Elephant beach serves as a haven for snorkelling enthusiasts, with shallow waters that offer an immersive experience. Thanks to the efforts of dedicated scuba divers who have educated the locals about reef conservation, the coral reefs here are thriving. You can also go a scenic 1.8 km trek through a captivating mangrove forest. The trek is guided by experienced professionals and typically takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. In addition to snorkelling, water sports activities are also available at this beach.
For a more laidback experience, you can also opt to go on private sunset cruise to a vantage point at sea from where you can watch a beautiful sunset. You will be sailing in the Ritchie’s archipelago’s lesser known islands, which presents breath-taking views of lush green rainforests on both sides while sailing on calm, pristine blue waters. The sunset cruise is for those who wish to enjoy the unique experience of sailing in the ocean at best time of the day when the last streaks of light are leaving the sky and you timepiece the most spectacular sunset of your life.
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the harbour to catch a ferry from Havelock to Neil Island. The ferry departs at 11:00 am and takes around 1 hour to reach Neil. Havelock and Neil Island are beautiful, tropical island-towns separated by water and not connected by roads. This makes ferry services the only way to go from Havelock to Neil Island.
Upon arrival at Neil Island, you will be met at the harbour and transferred to your beach hotel. that offers a luxurious and comfortable accommodation.
Neil Island is a tiny but beautiful island located 37 km south of Port Blair. Known for its magnificent biodiversity, unexplored coral reefs, white sandy beaches, and tropical woodlands, Neil Island is perfect for a much needed time out.
Life on Neil Island unfolds at a slower, more relaxed pace, making it an ideal destination for leisurely beach activities. Spend your days sunbathing, reading, or simply lounging on the sandy shores. Bharatpur Beach and Ramnagar Beach offer perfect spots for unwinding and enjoying the island’s unhurried ambiance. Given the flat landscape and the small area, Neil can be covered on bicycled with minimal effort. With its laid-back vibe and lucid charm, the island is soothingly different from its neighbouring Havelock.
After a relaxed morning, you’ll proceed to the harbour for your ferry ride to Port Blair, scheduled to depart at 12:30 pm. The ferry journey typically takes around 90 minutes to reach Port Blair. Upon your arrival in Port Blair, you’ll be smoothly transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. Perched atop a hill the hotel offers beautiful views of lush green landscapes and the pristine blue waters of the Bay of Bengal.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, allowing you to unwind and explore at your own pace.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to New Delhi for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of your journey through the captivating landscapes of the Andaman Islands.
