Chinkara Journeys is a Central India based travel company dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and eco-friendly wildlife and culture tours to one of India’s least known, yet most diversely attractive regions. We pride ourselves on our high quality, personalised service, engaging in great detail with our clientele with regards to their needs and interests whether they decide to pick one of our ‘ready-made’ tours, or opt for something specially tailored.
Based in Raipur, capital of the new state of Chhattisgarh, (created out of south-eastern Madhya Pradesh on 1st November 2000), Chinkara Journeys combines the knowledge and enthusiasm of its team long devoted to the wildlife, tribal people, culture and adventure that makes this Secret Heart of India so special.
Our Aim
To provide premium visitors with high quality, safe and reliable transportation and touring facilities;
To provide ground-level logistical support to the national and international travel trade and to selected local outlets to enhance development of the region as an exclusive premium destination for ecologically- based adventure travel;
To provide management and marketing Consultancy Services to private and public sector tourism development, combining extensive local knowledge with a long-developed understanding of, and commitment to international standards and requirements.

Although our own business concerns are targeted at an exclusive niche market, we well appreciate the potential of mass international and domestic travel for adventure, culture, wildlife tourism, or for pilgrimages.
